2021 Summer Reading List
Hi friends!
So back a couple of weeks ago, I asked you what were some MUST read books for this summer. I’ve always been a reader, but over the last year, I’ve been LOVING getting lost in a book. Whether it’s a mystery, romance, or intriguing story, there’s nothing quite like curling up on my back patio after the kids are in bed while the sun retires for the night.
I received so many amazing recommendations, but after receiving so many responses, there were nine that were recommended more than once! I’ve compiled a short list of the top nine books YOU think I should read, and I have to say, I’m looking forward to my nice slow summer reading this year! I’ve included links so you can view the books on Amazon/Target:
Also just a note to please read the trigger warnings before diving into some of these books. Some of these contain themes that could be triggering or offensive to some readers and nobody needs that kind of stress this summer ;)
Where the Crawdads Sing - Delia Owens
Verity - Colleen Hoover18+
The Push - Claire McGowan
Redeeming Love - Francine Rivers
American Dirt - Jeanine Cummins
The Nightingale - Kristin Hannah
Educated - Tara Westover
Daisy Jones and the Six - Taylor Jenkins Reid
The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue - V. E. Schwab
I was so overwhelmed by all the amazing recommendations in addition to this list, so if there’s a book you think I missed, drop a comment below or tag me on IG!
Thanks so much for reading!
xoxo
